Halloween with Aunt Kristy

Aunt Kristy flew down to celebrate Halloween with us this year. On Saturday, we carved pumpkins, roasted the seeds and watched the world series, Giants vs. Rangers.  Kristy is an adamant Giants fan, and dressed us all in Giants gear for the game.  She also carved an SF pumpkin. On Sunday, we walked around Balboa park for a bit and then headed home to get ready for Halloween and watch another game. Aunt Kristy dressed up in feathery eyelashes and a pink wig, Evan and Daddy were mummies. Mommy made jack-o-lantern pizza pot pies for dinner.

Mommy and Daddy took Evan trick-or-treating for the very first time! He had so much fun going up to doors and getting candy (even though he wasn’t allowed to eat it). We visited our baby neighbor friends, Ben and Reef, as well as a few other condos. Over all we had a great Halloween, and to top it off, the Giants won!

It looks like all of you really got into the spirit of Halloween as well as the World Series! I love Kristy’s pink wig! (Are Giants fans allowed to wear pink?) And Erik, well, you look great in a costume that seems to match Evan’s mummy. Becky, I love the photo of you holding Evan where he stretches his arms out and touches your cheeks with his little hands. As he looks into your eyes, he seems to say “I love you!” Then in the next picture he reaches his hands up to your ears and smashes your nose with a kiss!
How cute is that! I will enjoy looking at these photos numerous times!
Lots of love from Grandma Barby and Grandpa Bob

where to start? Evan’s mummy outfit was just precious. He looked quite comfortable all wrapped up and absoultely adorable. Kristy looked pretty fine in that pink wig and eyelashes…. especially with the Giant’s shirt on. I was composing a note to ask why there were no pictures of Daddy’s costume when one showed up. The good news is that the picture of Erik and Evan brought me great relief. I was really worried that Erik had actually grown that mustache !!!!!!

looks like you all had a great Halloween. love, Ann
