Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday before Grandma left, we all went to the Pumpkin Patch in Rancho Bernardo. Evan had so much fun running around all of the pumpkins and bales of hay.  He also really enjoyed looking at the goats, sheep and chicken in a pen nearby. Once he choose his pumpkins for Halloween this year, we loaded them up in a wheelbarrow. Evan was absolutely determined to push that wheelbarrow all by himself. It was adorable to see the strain on his sweet little face as he tried to lift the handles. He didn’t get frustrated….just looked very determined. He did much better with Mommy’s help, and together they pushed those pumpkins all the way to the car.

Simply adorable. Love the one where it looks like Evan is patting the pumpkins and thinking “these big ones are mine! All mine!” Very fun! Love, Ree

These wonderful photos really tell the story! It was such a great time at the pumpkin patch. I am glad that I was there to join the fun. Thanks again for a wonderful visit!

Evan, I loved your fascination with all of the fences there as well as your determination to push that wheelbarrow. You and I had such fun pushing the computer chair and the stroller together all around your home when I babysat. You are getting so strong! I can’t wait to see you again!
    Love, Grandma Barby
