Lunch Time

For the past couple of weeks, Evan has only been interested in feeding himself.  He now eats mostly diced veggies, fruits, and pasta.  His favorite is still cheese, but he also seems to really like green peas, blueberries, cherries, steamed carrots, shell pasta, and sometimes broccoli. Lately, I have been making him whole wheat/flax/applesauce waffles; which he seems to love, and has been eating nearly everyday for breakfast.  Here are a few pics of him chowing on broccoli and pasta.

That’s a nice healthy diet, Evan! Good for you! Love, Grandma Barby

yum yum. can we come eat at your restaurant? The waffles sound especially delicious. I have a South Beach diet pancake recipe that uses egg whites, oatmeal and low fat cottage cheese. that’s become a favorite at our house. we won’t tell Evan about the sugar free syrup which has something in it that makes it sweet. Applesauce would be a good topping

What doe Erik think about Evan eating fruit? must be Becky’s genes at work there.

    love to everybody, A, J & L
