Early 1st Birthday Party

more here

Grandma and Grandpa Bell hosted an early first birthday party for Evan while we were in Northern California for the 4th of July holiday. Mommy made some games to play including “How Old Am I?” using pictures from each month of Evan’s life, a challenging Evan quiz, and a guess how many cheerios game.

Evan finally got to meet his new friend, Dylan Liddell, who is 2 months younger. They had a great time playing together and cruising around the coffee table and were a wonderful source of entertainment for the rest of party.

Evan wanted a pool party, so that’s what he got! He showed everyone what a great splasher he is! He had a great time in the pool, especially with the 36 beach balls he had to play with. Here’s a short video of some pool time.

Evan got his first taste of sugar at the party with his very own cupcake! He was much more interested in tearing it apart than eating it! Here’s a video of his first birthday cake.

Evan received a lot of nice gifts and some super fun wrapping and tissue paper! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the birthday fun and a special thank you to Grandma & Grandpa Bell for throwing a great party and members of the Hill gang for bringing yummy salads. Here’s a video of the birthday aftermath.
