Six Month Doctor Visit

We had our 6 month well-baby checkup today.  Evan measured in at 15lbs 15oz, and 27 inches long, with a head circumference of 46cm.  That’s the 21st % for weight, the 72nd % for height, and 94th % for head circumference! Our little matchstick…we’re so proud.

He really enjoyed jumping (with Daddy’s help) on the crinkly paper while waiting for the doctor. He also grabbed almost everything in site, including the thermometer, the nurse’s ID badge, and the doctor’s stethoscope. It was so cute, it was almost like he wanted to help. He also grabbed and tore off the table paper a few times during the exam. When the doctor asked us if he was babbling, he showed off his array of sounds. In the end, he had to get 5 needle sticks with all the vaccines, poor guy, but he only cried for a minute or so, little champ!

Evan is so so soooo cute. My best wishes and lots joy for the entire family.

It is pretty interesting and amazing for the kids born in this century that they will get to see their childhood from the very beginning in future. I my case I have rarely seen pictures of my infant stage.

It sounds like you had so much fun exploring the doctor’s office, Evan. You are a curious little guy! And you are so brave to put up with 5 shots at one visit! Love, Grandma Barby
